A comprehensive web-based system built for Trimex Colleges' Criminal Justice Department that tracks student academic performance, manages enrollment and curriculum, and stores important student records. The system features real-time leaderboards, ranking modules, and automated report generation to help both students and faculty monitor progress efficiently.
Challenge
Trimex Colleges struggled with scattered academic tracking across their Criminal Justice program. Without a centralized system, they faced recurring issues: lost student records, slow document retrieval, enrollment delays, and no clear way to track student performance or curriculum progress. Faculty spent too much time on manual paperwork while students lacked visibility into their own academic standing. The college needed a secure, organized digital solution that could handle everything in one place.
Solution
Built a full-stack web application using PHP and MySQL that centralizes all academic operations. The system includes a student performance tracker with live leaderboards and rankings, a curriculum evaluation module that automatically checks if students are on track with their program requirements, and a report generation feature that creates detailed performance reports instantly. Deployed on AWS for reliable access, the platform gives students real-time visibility into their progress while freeing up faculty to focus on teaching instead of paperwork. The result: faster enrollment, zero lost records, and better academic accountability across the board.
